How to use it
On damp, detangled hair
Apply La Crème Coiffante first, then La Gelée Sculptante section by section, smoothing each strand from root to tip. Define the curl with your fingers, then dry with a hairdryer fitted with a concentrator nozzle.
Do not touch the hair again while it dries: this is what preserves the shape of the curl.
Do not rinse. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. For external use only.
Who it's for
For afro, coily, curly and wavy hair looking for real definition without the stiffness of a conventional gel. It suits textures that are quickly weighed down, fine hair, and curls that drop by the end of the day.
If your lengths are mainly damaged or brittle, start with Le Masque Réparateur instead.

Pomegranate: rich in antioxidants, it moisturises and protects the hair fibre, boosts shine and helps preserve the hair's vitality.
Green tea: known for its catechins, it helps preserve the quality and suppleness of the fibre, for light, clean, residue-free curls.
Jasmine: brings a fine, fresh and elegant scent signature.
Plant gums (xanthan, acacia Senegal, sclerotium): they hold the shape without stiffening or sticking, where a conventional gel leaves a film.

Does it feel sticky or leave a crunchy finish?
No, and that is what sets it apart from most gels on the market. No fixing resin, no drying alcohol: the hold comes from plant gums. Curls stay soft, you can run your hand through them without breaking the definition and without the crunch of dried gel.
What does it smell like?
A pomegranate and jasmine signature, fresh and floral, a world away from the chemical smell of conventional gels. The scent stays light and fades as the hair dries.
Does it leave white residue?
No. Applied to properly damp hair in a reasonable amount, it dries without any film or deposit. White marks almost always come from applying it to hair that is too dry or from using too much product.
Jelly or styling cream: which one to choose?
Both, one after the other. La Crème Coiffante moisturises and softens, La Gelée Sculptante goes on top to define and hold. Used alone, the jelly defines very well but moisturises less.
On dry or damp hair?
On damp hair, never on dry hair. Water forms the curl, the jelly sets it as it dries. On dry hair, it clumps.
How long does the definition last?
Several days if the hair is protected at night with a satin bonnet or scarf. A light mist of water in the morning is enough to revive the curl.
Is it suitable for fine or low-porosity hair?
Yes. Its texture is fresh and light, with no butter or heavy oil at the top of the formula. Start with a small amount and add strand by strand.
Can it be used on coloured or relaxed hair?
Yes. The formula is sulfate-free, paraben-free and silicone-free: it suits coloured, relaxed or chemically weakened hair.
