The Creole garden has always been part of the beauty rituals of Caribbean women. It is where we gather the plants, oils and precious gestures that care for coily and curly hair.
Man Dol’, my great-grandmother, detangled her long coily hair with a horn comb before Mass.
With the Rituel Texture®, I wanted to pass on a little of this heritage: the gestures, the tools and a deeply Creole way of caring for one's hair.

The Rituel Texture® was born of a simple conviction: coily hair needs a real method.
Gestures, tools and the order of application change everything. The Rituel Texture® combines treatments and techniques designed for coily, curly and wavy hair.

Dry hair · Fingers
Chadian detangling
Inspired by a technique passed on by a Chadian woman met in Senegal.
On dry hair, divide the hair into 6 to 8 sections. Smooth each strand from root to ends with the flat of your thumb, then form loose twists: the fibre is ready to receive the treatment, without breakage.

Cleansing
The hydrating detox
Purify coily hair while preserving its moisture.
Apply Le Shampoing Réparateur section by section, focusing on the scalp. Work it down the lengths, then rinse while squeezing the twists.

Deep treatment
The repairing massage
Deeply nourish and lastingly soften the fibre.
On towel-dried hair, apply Le Masque Réparateur, starting with the ends. Massage each strand to help the treatment penetrate and leave on for about 10 minutes.

Horn comb
Gentle detangling
Inspired by the gestures passed on by Man Dol’.
While the mask is on, detangle with Le Peigne de Man Dol’ in natural horn. Start at the ends, work gradually upwards without ever forcing, then rinse thoroughly.

Controlled heat
Protective drying
Preserve softness, suppleness and moisture while drying.
Apply La Crème Coiffante, then dry in 4 to 6 cm strands, focusing on the roots to soften the fibre. You can also leave your hair to air-dry.

Final step
Moisturising and sealing
Deeply moisturise, then lock that moisture in.
Apply La Crème Coiffante generously all over the hair, detangle and make a braid. Leave on for 10 minutes to overnight, then style as you wish.
