Results

From the very first wash: clean hair without that rough feel, soft lengths and easier detangling.

Wash after wash, every 7 to 10 days at the pace of the Rituel Texture®: a stronger fibre, less breakage and better-defined curls.

In use: a cream that does not foam (sulfate-free), a light scent of cocoa and hibiscus that does not linger, and a 250 ml bottle that lasts about three months at one wash a week.

How to use it

Step 1

On dry hair, detangle with your fingers, section by section, before washing.

Step 2

On wet hair, apply Le Shampoing Réparateur section by section, focusing on the scalp rather than the lengths. Massage with your fingertips, never your nails, adding water as you go. A second application is only useful if the scalp is loaded with styling products.

Step 3

Rinse thoroughly and squeeze the excess water from your hair, then apply Le Masque Réparateur. Detangling with Le Peigne de Man Dol’ is done just before applying Le Masque Réparateur or while it is on.

Le Shampoing Réparateur opens the Rituel Texture®, which is carried out every 7 to 10 days.

Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. For external use only.

What our customers say

4,8/5, 6 reviews

What they appreciate

The point that comes up most often: Le Shampoing cleanses without drying. Hair comes out clean, soft and supple, and one customer describes a real feeling of freshness on the scalp. Its scent is found pleasant, and one parent also uses it on her daughter's coily hair.

What you should know

One customer was initially surprised by how little it lathers, before noting that "the result is there": this is normal for a sulfate-free formula. As customers themselves say, the effect builds up wash after wash: one finds her hair "much more supple after every wash". A customer with long, voluminous hair would have liked a larger size than the 250 ml bottle.

Le Shampoing Réparateur, Le Masque Réparateur et un peigne en corne sur le rebord d'une baignoire

The first step of the Rituel Texture®

In the salon as at home, the Rituel Texture® begins with this shampoo. Next comes Le Masque Réparateur, which deeply nourishes the fibre, then La Crème Coiffante, which locks in moisture and defines the curls. Used together, the three products give more visible, longer-lasting results.

Your questions about Le Shampoing Réparateur, answered

It doesn't foam, is that normal?

Yes. The texture is creamy and non-foaming: leaving out sulfates removes the foam, not the cleansing power. A rich lather has never been a sign of cleanliness.

How often should coily hair be washed?

Every 7 to 10 days, at the pace of the Rituel Texture®. This also applies to very short cuts.

Is it suitable for locs?

Yes. Its formula rinses out without leaving residue, which is the deciding factor for locs.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, the formula is suitable for children's hair from the age of 4, as well as for adults.

Does the shampoo suit fine or thick hair?

Yes, both. On fine hair, a small amount is enough. On thick or long hair, allow a little more to cover the scalp properly, section by section.

Is the shampoo suitable for coloured or chemically treated coily hair?

Yes. Its sulfate-free formula cleanses gently, which suits coloured, bleached or chemically treated hair, often more fragile. It helps keep the lengths soft after washing.

Does this shampoo help define curls?

Not directly: its job is to cleanse without drying. By removing residue without stripping the fibre, it prepares the ground for Le Masque Réparateur, then for La Crème Coiffante, which shapes the curl.

Is it suitable for an itchy scalp?

Itching often comes from styling product residue building up near the roots. Sulfate-free, Le Shampoing Réparateur cleanses the scalp gently: massage it in with your fingertips, never your nails, then rinse thoroughly. If the itching persists or comes with redness, patches or thick flakes, seek advice from a doctor or dermatologist. Our advice is detailed in our article on itchy scalps.
